On 3/3/2009 our department along with Spartanburg EMS was alerted for an MVA with ejection on Henderson Road near Hwy 11. Upon arrival of Engine 1 crew found vehicle vs tree with lone occupant ejected and lying in parking lot. crews began BLS procedures and called for helicopter transport. Engine 4 and Rescue 1 were diverted to secure landing zone at Arrowood church. Units on scene were Engine 1, Engine 4, Rescue 1, Medic 14, Regional 1, SCHP
